Gas & Fan Interlocking
The KGI-1750 provides interlocking of up to four fans and the gas solenoid valve
Emergency Shut Off
The unit is fitted with an emergency shut off cutting off the gas supply when activated.
BMS Connections
Connections are available to integrate with a Building Management System to make or break a circuit dependent on whether gas is on or off, (valve open or valve closed). This will tell the BMS whether the kitchen has use of the gas supply.
Fire Alarm Integration
The unit can be integrated with a fire alarm to close the gas supply automatically in the event of a signal from the fire alarm panel.
Fan Control
Located on the panel are up and down arrows increasing or decreasing the fan speed. This range will be limited by the maximum and minimum speeds set within the panel. On/Off switches are included for Fan 1 and Fan 2. 0-10V outputs can directly control EC fans or AC fans via Variable Frequency Drives. .
CO and CO2 Monitoring
The System works with carbon dioxide monitors and carbon monoxide detectors (sold Separately) to increase the speed of the ventilation when these gases are present, both in and out of working hours.
Designed to BS6173
Appliances must be interlocked with any mechanical ventilation system that is fitted cutting off the gas supply or prevent the operation of appliances if the mechanical ventilation system provides an inadequate airflow rate for the safe operation of appliances and the safety of personnel.
