MOXA MEV HX

The MOXA MEV HX is a centralised, continuous-running Mechanical Extract Ventilation (MEV) unit designed for whole-house ventilation in residential dwellings. It extracts stale, humid air from wet rooms while supporting controlled background ventilation throughout the property.

The MOXA MEV HX serves multiple wet rooms simultaneously, continuously extracting moisture, odours, VOCs and airborne pollutants from bathrooms, kitchens, utility rooms and WCs. By maintaining effective ventilation throughout the dwelling, it helps preserve healthy indoor air quality while protecting the building fabric from condensation and mould growth. This results in improved occupant comfort and wellbeing, whilst reducing the risk of damp-related damage, associated maintenance costs and long-term building degradation.

Featuring an integral humidity sensor as standard, offering either intelligent adaptive humidity control or selectable fixed humidity thresholds of 60%, 75% or 90% relative humidity. The system automatically increases airflow when rising moisture levels are detected, ensuring ventilation is delivered only when required. This demand-led operation improves energy efficiency, helps maintain optimal indoor air quality and minimises unnecessary fan noise for enhanced occupant comfort.

The unit operates continuously at a low background speed and can automatically increase to an intermediate speed through its integrated humidity sensing function. Additional boost ventilation can be activated at either medium or maximum speed via a remote switch, or external device such as a PIR. This flexible three-speed control strategy simplifies commissioning, supports compliance with dwelling ventilation requirements and provides occupants with convenient, demand-led boost ventilation when needed.
