When the humidity threshold is detected, the fan automatically boosts its speed, effectively reducing excess moisture and preventing condensation build-up. Features and Benefits
- The Plus+ model brings further enhancements to our standard model:
- Heating element: An integral heater automatically tempers the incoming air when needed.
- Standby mode: Automatically activates to prevent undesired warm air from entering the dwelling (e.g. during summer).
- Heat recovery mode: The unit can be set to increase its speed if your loft has benefited from solar gain, bringing in more warm air.
- Control: Remote selection of the speed and heating element via an optional dedicated control switch.
- Double filtration as standard, ensuring that the incoming air is clean; removing dust, pollen and external air pollutants.
- The external washable pre-filter features an integral magnet system to remove and clean easily (without the need for tools) . This pre-filter stops dust from being pulled into the primary filter, which would restrict filtration and reduce the filter’s lifetime.
- Internal ISO Coarse 60% (G4) filter as standard, perfect for dust, mould spores and general pollutants.
- For high-traffic areas, this can be upgraded to an IAQ filter to remove diesel fumes.
- Discreet ceiling diffuser with adjustable blanking plates to direct the airflow to suit the needs of tenants.
- Pre-wired, pre-mounted fixing points and multiple modes of operation selectable at the time of deployment mean a fast, versatile installation.
- Acoustic self-extinguishing foam lining for sound attenuation.
Specification
- Galvanised sheet steel casing, powder-coated in white (RAL 9010).
- Durable, solid ABS plastic top cover.
- The unit is designed for continuous running with a highly efficient EC motor which has integral thermal protection, is mounted on sealed-for-life ball bearings and anti-vibration supports.
- Forward curved centrifugal impeller is dynamically balanced and directly driven by the motor to provide a smooth airflow through the unit.
- The top cover is easily removable for inspection and maintenance.
- Integral 500w heating element.
- Acoustic self-extinguishing foam lining for sound attenuation.
- IPX4 protection degree.
- Modern design ceiling diffuser made of high-quality ABS technopolymer.
- Supplied with 2.5m flexible duct to connect ventilation unit and diffuser.
Tested
- Tested to the latest standards: units are tested in the TÜV Rheinland recognised laboratory at Aerauliqa, meaning accurate, up-to-date information on electrical safety, performance and noise level that can be relied upon.
- Designed and manufactured in accordance with EN60335-2-80 (Low Voltage Directive) and the EMC Directive (Electromagnetic Compatibility).
Operation
At the time of installation, the unit can be configured with the following modes of operation:
- Single-Speed.
- Two-speed operation via remote switch (not supplied).
- High-speed override via a remote switch or ambient sensor e.g. HUMIDITY SENSOR.
- High-speed override via a remote switch or ambient sensor (e.g. SEN-HY accessory).
- Remote selection of the speed and heating element via dedicated P1 CONTROL SWITCH (accessory).
- Controllability via ModBus for BMS.
